SFEx® .. Implementation Methodology
The OOPSystems Software Implementation Methodology identifies and addresses key strategic and tactical issues to develop a blueprint for tracking project progress to successful implementation.
The methodology includes the following :
Scope : The OOPSystems -Client Implementation Team defines the specific statement of work,
key milestones, and sets-up the
project management structure.
Design : OOPSystems Implementation Exercises enable the rapid definition of business requirements,
creation of a Data Transfer Guide, and development of a Functional Specification
These documents together serve as the roadmap for configuration of the application and the implementation of future state business processes.
Implement : The system is configured based on the Functional Specification,
and systems are integrated in accordance with the functional specification.
Validate : Following initial configuration of the system,
a Conference Room Pilot is held to identify issues or gaps prior to go-live.
As part of this process, the implementation team prepares a detailed script reflecting future state business processes.
Following completion of the pilot, process and system issues are addressed as required.
Deploy : Upon completion of the Conference Room Pilot phase,
user and super training is conducted, final testing is completed,
the system is deployed in a parallel production and then promoted into production.
