In the mid eighties I started a software company that made a new technology which helped computers process the scripting systems of the majority of living human languages. The company saw meteoric success, and grew rapidly. However, our success came when we were not prepared for it. Managing the organization took a tremendous effort. We started experiencing issues like too many customers, unruly supply chain, too few employees, cash flow trouble with large differences between ebb and flow, among other troubles. This led to my decision to sell the company before it collapsed on its own success.

I vowed then that I will dedicate my professional life to figuring out the issues that haunt companies during their periods of high growth. OOPSystems was the result of those twenty odd years of study, research and development in management and finance concerns.
