OOPSystems Software, Inc. of U.S.A. and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education (JPDE) inked the partnership agreement for joint training of software professionals.

October 18th, 2005, marked history. This was the day OOPSystems Software, Inc. of U.S.A. and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education (JPDE) inked the partnership agreement for joint training of software professionals.

Speaking at the well attended signing ceremony, Mr.WANG Bintai, Director General of JPDE, explained the joint training project and the unique implementation methodology. Speaking highly of OOPSystems, he listed the reasons they chose OOPSystems as their main partner. "We chose them because of their superior capability in software development; highly praised project planning and their outstanding management practices," Mr.Wang said. He added that he deeply believed the cooperation would result in a very successful venture. He concluded by saying that OOPSystems understands that the target is not only to create a training program but further achieve the larger goal of invigorating the Chinese software industry.

Alex K. Jarrah CEO of OOPSystems Software Inc. USA, in his address said that it was a great honor for OOPSystems to provide any help they could in this project. "For many years, I have dreamt of helping China build its software industry. This project is the first and most important step to realize this dream," he said. He said that education was the key to build a software industry and added that the Jiangsu Province recognized this. He said that he would lead OOPSystems to provide any help to help Jiangsu Province train and develop the IT talent required to build a software industry

Mr. WANG Zhaoming, President of Jiangsu Institute of Economic and Trade Technology, went into the details of the project. "My school would do its best to cooperate with OOPSystems. I believe this project will be very successful with the help of OOPSystems," he said.

Others present at the signing ceremony, which had all the typical grandeur experienced at Chinese official celebrations, included Mr.XIE Zhengyi, Deputy Director General of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Information Industry; Mr.YANG Xiangning, Deputy Director General of JPDE; Madhava V, VP of Engineering OOPSystems Software, Inc.; Cindy Chen VP of Business Development OOPSystems Software, Inc., Presidents and Vice Presidents of software companies and media.
