BizOS®:
Project Management Software
The BizOS® Project Management module provides effective
and efficient tools for overall project management. No matter
what scale the project is, it requires precise planning of the
many detailed activities involved. The project manager has the
job of ensuring that the project is executed efficiently, on time,
and within budget. This can be achieved by ensuring required resources
and funds are available as and when they are needed.
Projects are generally part of the internal processes of a company.
To be able to control the execution of all tasks in a project,
you need an organizational form that is specific to the project
and which is shared by all departments involved. Before you can
carry out a project in its entirety, the project goals must be
precisely described and the project activities to be carried out
must be structured. A clear, unambiguous project structure is
the basis for successful project planning, execution, monitoring,
and control.
The BizOS® Project Management module
allows you to easily make a budget for a project based
on existing data and past experience. In the Budgeting
Module, projects are set up as segments of action
programs adopted that set out planned accomplishments
and estimate the funds and resources to be applied
for the budget periods in order to attain the planned
outcome.
In The BizOS® Forecasting feature, the objectives
of a project are declared together with milestones.
This establishes the standard criteria that can be
compared to the actual execution of the project.
BizOS® Project Management feature provides
you with the tools to assign the right resources to
each project. Resources to be selected from the list
containing detailed reference information, such as
skill set, skill level, available date, overload status,
etc, which can help the project manager make wise
and correct decisions, thus leading to optimal resource
allocation. Furthermore, the project manager could
also evaluate each resource as to their performance,
which is important for overall project evaluation.
The BizOS® Project Management
module employs WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) for
each project. Projects are divided into jobs, tasks
or issues according to different functional roles.
Each activity is assigned the proper resource and
is displayed on a daily tracking list to help the
manager in tracking progress.
