The BizOS®
Information Management Module is similar to all PIM
software in that it provides facilities and functions
for you to store your notes, contacts and calendar information.
However, it goes further because this information can
be tagged to be accessed by a single individual, a group
within your company or the whole enterprise. Thus it
prompts us to remove the term "Personal" from
the commonly known function of "Personal Information
Management".
BizOS® takes the concept of tasks to
new heights with objectives. This gives the user the
ability to connect any set of tasks to a common objective.
Those tasks can then be assigned priority and dependency
values to help you manage your task accomplishment
in the most orderly and productive fashion. Then BizOS®
gives the manager the ability to control such objectives
and their subsidiary tasks to groups and individuals
within the organization.
The BizOS® Information Management module
features are all available in a very secure and private
way to each individual in the organization. Thus,
they could use it as if it was their own PIM software.
But if they chose to, they can set a flag on a new
or existing contact, note, task or appointment to
allow a group within the company to see it, or even
the whole company.
But this is only one part of the benefit. Imagine having
not only a personal calendar but true group calendars,
and corporate calendars that you can switch between
at the click of a button. Now grow this concept to cover
all of your notes, contacts, objectives and tasks in
addition to calendars. Now you truly have a "Corporate
Information Management System".
